Number 1: Hello Sky Hotel

Hello Sky Air Hotel è stato una scoperto fantastico per me! Si trova all’interno dell’aeroporto di Fiumicino, ed è collegato da un corridoio coperto di soli 100 metri davanti ai terminal. Arrivando dai Terminal 1, 2 e 3, raggiungere il livello superiore seguendo le indicazioni per la Stazione Ferroviaria. La passeggiata per la sicurezza dall’hotel è letteralmente a soli 5 minuti. FYI: c’è anche un HelloSky Air Hotel & Lounge nell’aeroporto di Milano/Bergamo.

The Hello Sky Air Hotel was a fantastic discovery for me! It is located inside Fiumicino Airport, and it is connected by a covered corridor of just 100 meters in front of the terminals. When arriving from Terminals 1, 2, and 3, reach the upper level following the directions to the Train Station. The walk to security from the hotel is literally just 5 minutes. FYI: there is also a HelloSky Air Hotel & Lounge in the Milan/Bergamo Airport.

All’inizio ero scettico sull’idea di alloggiare in una stanza d’albergo proprio all’interno dell’aeroporto. Ma, dopo aver soggiornato lì, sono rimasta davvero colpita. Le camere sono pulitissime, ognuna con bagno privato e doccia, e offre agli ospiti uno spazio confortevole e tranquillo dove si può riposare o passare la notte prima o dopo un volo. C’è anche un ristorante all’interno dell’hotel, che serve un pasto gustoso con serve vino o prosecco. Il personale dell’hotel, anche, sono molto accogliente. Consiglio vivamente HelloSky Air Hotel e lo userò di nuovo.

At first, I was skeptical of staying in a hotel room right inside the airport. But, after having stayed there I was truly impressed. The rooms are spotless, each has a private bathroom and shower, and offers guests a comfortable, quiet space to rest or spend the night before or after a flight. There is even a restaurant inside the hotel, that serves a tasty meal and serves you wine or prosecco. The hotel staff, too, a warm and welcoming. I highly recommend HelloSky Air Hotel and will use it again.

Utilizzando questo servizio, puoi evitare il fastidio di fissare un appuntamento in farmacia in Italia per fare il test Covid prima di tornare negli Stati Uniti. Invece, puoi fare il test nella privacy della tua camera d’albergo prima del tuo ritorno negli Stati Uniti e far verificare i risultati tramite un Med Tech online e inviare i risultati direttamente alla compagnia aerea.

The eMed Service was recommended to me by United Airlines, and they also partner with American Airlines and Delta. Using this service, you can avoid the hassle of making an appointment in a farmacia in Italy to get your Covid test before returning to the United States. Instead, you can take the test in the privacy of your hotel room before your return to the U.S. and have the results verified through an online Med Tech and then have results sent directly to the airline.

The Baggallini brand was formed in 1995 by two Delta Air Line flight attendants who created this line of lightweight, inexpensive line of tote bags. I used this duffle throughout my recent trip to Italy expanding it to carry all essential clothes on board my flight and during the rest of the trip, I used it as a hold-everything day bag.

When traveling, I tend to carry my phone in my hand all the time, so I’m ready to snap pictures, make a call, check email, or show my boarding pass. Because of this, it is easy to set down my phone and lose it. If it isn’t in my hand, I stash it in my handbag for safekeeping, only to panic if I can’t locate it again immediately. But keeping the phone around my neck on a lanyard, knowing where it was at all times, freed up my hands and gave me the peace of mind to relax and enjoy my travels. Ai tempi del Covid, le mascherine sono ancora necessarie per i viaggi aerei e le situazioni indoor, come musei e gallerie. In the time of Covid, face masks are still necessary for air travel and indoor situations, such as museums and galleries. I found this face mask to be very comfortable for long air travel and worn when I was out with my groups. It has a textured outer layer that disperses heat and increases airflow during exercise or movement. It has a soft inner layer that wicks away moisture, is washable, and dries quickly.

Number 11: Mesh Laundry Bags, various sizes.

Viaggiare e soggiornare in molti posti, fare e disfare le valigie può essere a volte disordinato e confuso. Odio scavare nella mia valigia alla ricerca di capi di abbigliamento che sono sepolti così in profondità che devo capovolgere tutto per trovarli. Per rimanere super organizzato, uso questi sacchetti a rete trasparenti per separare e ordinare i miei vestiti. Posso combinare gli abiti e averli tutti chiusi con la zip e pronti per andare, oppure posso organizzare tutte le mie t-shirt o tutte le mie gonne insieme in un’unico sachetto.

Traveling and staying in multiple places, packing, and unpacking can be disorderly and confusing at times. I hate digging around my suitcase searching for clothing items that are buried so deep I have to up-end everything to find them. To stay super organized, I use these white breathable see-through mesh bags to separate and sort my clothes. I can combine outfits and have them all zipped up and ready to go, or I can organize all my t-shirts or all my skirts together into one bag.

Ho abbandonato le borse per il trucco di stoffa dall’aspetto fantasioso molto tempo fa per sacchetti di plastica con un chiusura lampo semplici ed economiche per contenere tutte le mie lozioni, pozioni e articoli da toeletta. Quando torno a casa, non ho rimpianti per aver buttato via borse schifose macchiate di trucco per gli occhi residuo o schiuma di sapone! Uso tutte le taglie disponibili per organizzare oggetti da piccoli a grandi. Utilissime anche le borse extra-large, per mettere in valigia scarpe o un costume da bagno bagnato quando si deve tornare velocemente in valigia per passare alla destinazione successiva.

I ditched the fancy-looking bulky make-up bags a long time ago for simple, inexpensive ziplock bags to hold all my lotions, potions, and toiletries. When I return home, I have no regrets about throwing away yucky bags that are stained with residual eye make-up or soap scum! I use all the sizes available to organize small to large items. The extra-large bags come in handy also, to pack shoes or a wet bathing suit when it has to go quickly back into the suitcase to move on to the next destination.

Per me, il tappetino Manduka Yoga è ormai un capo essenziale di viaggio. L’asciugamano per capelli in microfibra è un’altra facile soluzione al problema dei pochi asciugamani nel bagno italiano. Ho finalmente trovato un set di boccette da viaggio che non perdono durante il viaggio o il cambio di pressione dell’aria. I liquidi sono rimasti all’interno come avrebbero dovuto. Le bottiglie colorate sono utili anche per mantenere le lozioni organizzate e identificabili.

I’ve finally found a set of travel bottles that don’t leak during traveling or the change of air pressure. Liquids stayed inside like they were supposed to. The colored bottles are helpful, too, to keep lotions organized and identifiable.

Number 19: Airplane Adjustable Footrest for Air Plane

Ammetto di non aver usato questo poggiapiedi, ma la mia amica Paula che scrive per Italy Magazine, ci giura. Sembra un’ottima idea per i voli lunghi e non vedo l’ora di provarla nel mio prossimo viaggio in aereo.

I confess I haven’t used this footrest, but my friend Paula who writes for Italy Magazine, swears by it. It looks like a great idea for long flights and I’m looking forward to trying it out on my next plane trip.

Number 20: Travelrest Ultimate Travel Pillow & Neck Pillow

Ancora una volta, lo confesso, non ho usato questo cuscino. Mi è stata anche suggerito dalla mia amica Paula (vedi sopra). Dato che odio portare in giro il peluche “aeroplano-ciambella-cuscino” e portarlo in giro nel mio bagaglio fino a quando non torno a casa, questa sembra un’ottima soluzione. Il cuscino si gonfia, si sgonfia e si arrotola in un piccolo pacchetto, quindi non occupare troppo spazio.

Again, I confess, I have not used this pillow. It too was suggested to me by my friend Paula (see above). As I hate carrying around the plush “plane-donut-pillow” and toting it around in my luggage until I return home again this seems like a great solution. The pillow inflates, deflates, and rolls up into a small package so doesn’t take up too much space.

Prima del mio viaggio, ero alla ricerca di vestiti leggeri che fossero casual, economici con un po’ di fantasia che potessi indossare per molti occasione sia elegante sia casuale. Before my trip, I was looking for lightweight wrap dresses that were casual, inexpensive, and fun that I could dress up or down. Something, too, I could scrap if needed on the return trip to lighten my load. I found these MSBasic dresses on Amazon, and they fit all these requirements… but, in the end, I didn’t want to jettison them… AND I got a lot of compliments and people wrote me, wanting to know where I’d gotten them,

Adoro questi Skorts di Oyzmiki. Sono leggeri e confortevoli e sono disponibili in una varietà di colori e modelli. C’è anche una tasca interna per tenere il telefono. Ne ho portato con me uno per fare il mio yoga mattutino e, abbinati a una T-shirt, fungono anche da copricostume da spiaggia quando sono arrivato al mare. I love these Skorts by Oyzmiki. They are lightweight and comfortable and come in a variety of colors and patterns. There is even an inner pocket to hold your phone. I packed a pair to do my morning yoga in, and paired with a T-shirt, they double as my as a beach cover-up when I got to the sea. The Skorts are cute and versatile enough to also be worn around town.

Le scarpe marchio Rothy sono le mie scarpe preferite quando viaggio. Per me sono comode, sono disponibili in vari colori e la parte migliore di tutte… sono lavabili. Hanno suole in gomma, sono leggeri e possono essere vestiti su o giù e vanno con tutto. Le scarpe del marchio Rothy sono un po ‘costose a $ 145 al paio, ma per me valgono l’investimento in quanto mi stanno bene e posso indossarle 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7. Rothy brand shoes are my go-to shoe when traveling. For me, they are comfortable, come in various colors, and the best part of all… they are washable. They have rubber soles, are lightweight, and can be dressed up or down and go with everything. The Rothy brand shoes are a little pricey at $145 a pair, but for me, they are worth the investment as they fit me well and I can wear them 24-7. If you’d like to pay less, comparable brands, such as Vivaia, are available on Amazon.
