Did you know that La Studentessa Matta has a theme song?
When I started my podcast and YouTube channel, I knew I needed music to set the mood. That’s when I shared the idea with my friend Gloria Acerboni, an Italian singer. Her immediate response? “Ma certo! Dobbiamo scriverne una insieme! Of course! Let’s write one together!”
And so began a new adventure! With Gloria’s feedback, I penned the lyrics, and Paden Schmidt, a talented composer, worked his magic to create the music. Gloria and Paden brought the song to life with their incredible voices.
I wanted a song that captured the essence of letting go, spreading your wings, and embracing the learning journey. Language learning is all about diving in, taking risks, and embracing your inner “matta” (craziness). The song is about approaching challenges with a smile, optimism, and a curiosity to explore.
