It is possible to create an Immersion program at home. I’m living proof! I went from 0 to fluent by actively participating in online training sites to improve my vocabulary skills and my command of grammar.

Di recente ho deciso di scrivere un elenco complete di tutte le cose che ho fatto negli ultimi anni per imparare l’italiano e metterle insieme in una pratica guida scaricabile. Lo sto chiamando — 97 Authentic Resources (and then some!) for Learning Italian at Home and in Italy.

sito fantastico : LingQ!

But in this guide, I seem to have overlooked a great learning site: LingQ!

L’altro giorno ho mandato un campione della 97 risorse guida ad una lettrice del blog. Mi ha risposto ringraziandomi, ma anche per farmi sapere che mi era sfuggito il suo sito preferito per la formazione delle lingue online chiamato LingQ e mi ha consigliato di andare a dare un’occhiata perché secondo lei è migliore di Duolingo.

The other day I sent a preview copy of the 97 Authentic Resources to a reader of the Matta Blog. She wrote back thanking me, but also to let me know that I had missed her favorite website for online Italian training called LingQ and said I should check it out as she found it better than Duolingo.

Anni fa mi sono iscritta al sito, ma ammetto di non averlo visitato da un po’. Quindi, sono passata a LingQ per vedere cosa stava succedendo nella comunità per sapere cosa adesso offre agli studenti della lingua italiana.

Years ago, I subscribed to the site, but admit I haven’t visited it in a while. So, I jumped right over to LingQ to see what was going on in the community to see what it now has to offer Italian language learners.

LingQ (pronunciato “link”) è un sito per l’apprendimento delle lingue nel modo di un gioco e aiuta a migliorare le capacità di lettura, di scrittura, di ascolto, di conversazione e aiuta a aumentare il vocabolario. È disponibile in 14 lingue, incluso l’italiano, ovviamente, e copre I livelli da principiante ad avanzato.

LingQ (pronounced “link”) is a language learning website that has gamified language learning and helps to improve reading, writing, listening, speaking skills, and increases vocabulary. It is available in 14 languages, including Italian, of course, and covers beginning levels to advanced.

Lessons on the LingQ site are organized into courses, which follow a story that builds upon itself. You read through paragraphs strewn with new vocabulary and as you can see in the screenshot, words are color-coded. You can tell LingQ which words you already know and which words you need to learn. The words appear to the left of the story and become a part of your LingQ flashcard deck.

There are various ways of practicing your words via audio training, multiple-choice quiz, and diction tools.

Come Duolingo, LingQ incoraggia l’apprendimento delle lingue incentivando con “learning streaks”, simpatici avatar e la possibilità di guadagnare monete virtuali (con le quali è possible acquistare oggetti per il proprio avatar.) Ci sono anche sfide mensili per la comunità.

Like Duolingo, LingQ encourages language learning by incentivizing with learning streak participation, cute avatars, and the chance to earn virtual coins (with which you can buy items for your avatar.) There are also monthly community language challenges.

LingQ significa saltare subito nella lingua straniera. Fin dal inizia cominci ad imparare nuove parole — non ci sono le traduzioni!

LingQ is all about jumping right into a new language. Right from the start, you begin learning new words — there are no translations!

Penso che LingQ sia un modo divertente e utile per l’apprendimento e per praticare la lingua italiana, a qualsiasi livello. L’ho appena aggiunto alla mia guida di 97 risorse autentiche, spostando il totale dei suggerimenti fino a 98 — ed è per questo che la guida ora è intitolato 97 Authentic Resources Guide (e poi alcune!)

I think LingQ is a fun and effective way to learn and practice Italian language skills, no matter your level. I’ve now added it to my 97 Authentic Resources Guide, moving the total of tips up to 98 — and that is why the guide is now called 97 Authentic Resources Guide (and then some!)
