The mayor of Bologna, realizing the imminent danger, has formed a committee that is closely monitoring the situation. He has also implemented a civil protection plan to protect city dwellers by erecting specially designed rockfall protection nets made of metal around the towers anchored to the ground.

La vista dalla Torre degli Asinelli è senza dubbio bellissima, ma fai attenzione se stai per laurearti! Secondo un’antica superstizione, agli studenti universitari viene consigliato di non salire in cima alla famosa torre bolognese prima di laurearsi. Il rischio (ancora una volta, secondo la superstizione) è che potrebbero non laurearsi.
The view from the Asinelli Tower is undoubtedly beautiful, but be careful if you’re about to graduate! Questa superstizione sta ora diventando realtà! Pensaci un po’! Se uno studente dovesse salire sulla torre, potrebbe semplicemente crollare a terra prima di raggiungere la cima, e certamente, non si sarebbe mai laureato affatto!
