It’s designed to elevate your Italian skills through one-on-one classes while you live with your teacher along the Tuscan coast. Imagine spending a week or two immersed in daily life—sharing meals, shopping, exploring Pisa’s beautiful sights, meeting Emma’s friends, and experiencing the Italian lifestyle firsthand. Pisa is close to Florence and Lucca, and Emma is happy to take you there.

Pisa è situata in Toscana, a circa due ore di treno a ovest di Firenze e a soli 20 minuti da Lucca. È una città sul mare ed è famosa per il complesso del Camposanto, composto dalla Piazza dei Miracoli, dal Duomo, dal Battistero e dalla celebre Torre Pendente, costruiti tra il 1174 e il XIV secolo. Pisa is located in Tuscany about two hours by train west of Florence and just 20 minutes from Lucca. It is a coastal city known for the famous Camposanto complex, comprising the Piazza dei Miracoli, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Leaning Tower, all built between 1174 and the 14th century. Pisa was the birthplace of Galileo Galilei and is home to one of Italy’s major universities, dating back to the 12th century.

Emma vive in un grazioso appartamento su due piani nel centro storico di Pisa. Gli studenti possono soggiornare nell’appartamento al piano inferiore, dotato di bagno privato, cucina e soggiorno. L’appartamento è a soli 5 minuti dalla strada principale e a circa 15 minuti dalla Torre Pendente. Emma offre lezioni al mattino e nel pomeriggio ti accompagnerà in escursioni a piedi per la città.
Emma lives in a lovely two-story apartment in the historic center of Pisa. Students stay in the downstairs apartment, complete with a private bath, kitchen, and living room. The apartment is just 5 minutes from the main street and about 15 minutes from the Leaning Tower. Emma provides morning lessons and accompanies you on walking excursions around the city in the afternoons.

Emma has developed a unique teaching style that combines traditional educational methods with informal, interactive cultural activities. Each Homestay program is carefully customized to meet the individual needs of the student.
Lessons go beyond the classroom and may include guided tours, reading books and magazines, listening to Italian audio materials, watching videos, and using the internet—all designed to improve language proficiency while keeping the learning experience enjoyable and relaxing.
Students can choose from 10, 15, or 20 hours of lessons per week, typically held in the mornings, with afternoons reserved for immersive tours and cultural activities.
