Carmela Marocchini, known to her friends as Lina, lives in a peaceful yet central Roman neighborhood. Her passions include music, art, literature, and most importantly, the Italian language. With years of experience and an engaging method, Carmela will help you learn Italian through full immersion.
Ama cucinare e durante il soggiorno avrai l’opportunità di assaggiare piatti tipici romani preparati da lei. Nel tempo libero, Carmela esplora Roma in bicicletta, visita musei e legge libri. Parla fluentemente inglese e francese, ma preferisce insegnare in italiano per favorire un apprendimento autentico e naturale.
She loves cooking, and during your stay, you’ll have the chance to taste typical Roman dishes prepared by her. In her free time, Carmela explores Rome by bike, visits museums, and reads books. She speaks fluent English and French but prefers teaching in Italian to promote authentic and natural learning.

Garbatella è uno dei quartieri più autentici di Roma, vicino al centro ma lontano dal traffico frenetico. Nato negli anni ’20 come villaggio operaio, il quartiere conserva ancora oggi la sua atmosfera unica con casette, giardini e una vivace comunità locale.
Garbatella is one of Rome’s most authentic neighborhoods, close to the center yet away from the bustling traffic. Born in the 1920s as a working-class village, the area still retains its unique charm with small houses, gardens, and a lively local community.

Carmela’s apartment spacious and quiet apartment is a typical Roman condominium, surrounded by gardens and offering a serene retreat from the city’s bustle. Two well-appointed bedrooms are available for your stay, each equipped with chairs, sofas, lamps, dressers, a study corner, and WiFi.
