Ciao ragazzi! Oggi vorrei farvi conoscere la mia amica Elena. Elena è un’insegnante d’italiano che accoglie studenti nella sua casa a Bergamo per le vacanze di lingue/Homestay Language Vacations. Ha anche una casa estiva sul lago di Como dove si può anche accogliere visitatori. Elena è molto fiera della sua città e oltre alle lezioni d’italiano, lei sarà la vostra guida alla città e vi mostrerà la cultura, l’arte e la bellezza di Bergamo.
Hi guys! Today I would like to introduce to you my friend Elena. Elena is an Italian teacher who welcomes students into her home in Bergamo for Italian Homestay language vacations. She also has a summer home on Lake Como where she can accommodate visitors as well. Elena is very proud of her city and beyond Italian lessons, she will act as your guide to the city showing you it’s culture, art and beauty of Bergamo.

Ciao a tutti, mi chiamo Elena e insegno da tempo l’italiano alle persone straniere. Sono una persona socievole e dinamica e mi piace molto conoscere nuove persone e nuove culture. Mi piace leggere, viaggiare, andare al cinema e a teatro, fare sport e lunghe passeggiate, ma anche cucinare.
Hi everybody, my name is Elena and for a while now I have been teaching Italian to foreigners. I am a sociable and dynamic person and I like to meet new people and experience new cultures. I like reading, traveling and going to the movies and theater, doing sports and taking long walks and also cooking.
Vivo a Bergamo, una bellissima cittadina medievale che vorrei invitarvi a conoscere più da vicino. Ne rimarrete incantatati! Vi assicuro che non si tratta di “campanilismo”..
I live in Bergamo, a beautiful medieval city and I would like to invite you all to become better acquainted with it. You will be charmed! I assure you that it is not just because I am from Bergamo!

I will be at your complete disposition, not only for regular Italian lesson that will take place in my home, but also I will introduce you to the various aspects of culture, art and beauty of my city and my region and you will savor the fine cuisine of the area. To maximize your Italian comprehension you will have the opportunity to chat pleasantly with me and my family and my friends as we prepare dinner, organize our plans, or go to the cinema theater or sightseeing excursions. My hope is that your stay with me will be unforgettable, based on friendship and the learning of the language and culture, as well as history, art and Italian cuisine.
