Italian Language Home Stay in Arezzo in Tuscany with Francesca

I am pleased to announce a Homestay Italian Language teacher – Francesca Rossato who lives in Tuscany just outside of Arezzo. If you would like to be immersed in Italian culture, you are invited into Francesca’s home near the small hillside town of Arezzo in the Chianti region. 

While you are in the heart of Tuscany you will learn Italian, while living with Francesca’s family. You will also learn to cook like a true Tuscan in Francesca’s kitchen and enjoy meals with the family.

Francesca is a young Italian woman who has lived for many years in England in Brighton where she received her degree with Honors in English and Italian, and where she taught for four years Italian in various colleges and private institutions. She returned to Italy where she also studied the University of Siena, French, English, and Italian. She has also studied and worked for brief periods of time in the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Arab Emirates as well as many other European countries (France, England, Portugal, and Austria) where she taught Italian to foreigners. 

Now after a wonderful and unforgettable experience abroad, she has decided to open her own business and has started her own Homestay Italian Teaching program. Francesca’s home is located in the Aretina countryside, only 10 minutes by car from the city center of Arezzo. In the heart of this charming region in Tuscany, which is rich in flavors, cooking, wine, traditions Francesca has decided to open her Homestay Italian Learning Experience.

Adesso, dopo aver fatto delle bellissime ed indimenticabili esperienze all’estero, ha deciso di intraprendere un’ altra motivante esperienza, quella di essere proprietaria e fondatrice di Tuscany Italian Homestay! La sua villa si trova nella campagna aretina, solo a 10 minuti in auto dal centro della città.  Nel cuore di un’incantevole regione, la Toscana , terra ricca di sapori, di cucina, vino, tradizioni, cultura, ha dato origine al suo Homestay.

But, above all else, hospitality is Francesca’s biggest gift she can her visitors, and she and her family will welcome you and make your visit serene, comfortable, friendly, social, and full of respect for those who chose her as a teacher and would like to spend time in her home.

Innanzitutto, l’accoglienza è il punto forte: lei e la sua famiglia renderanno il soggiorno dei “viaggiatori” familiare, sereno, amabile, socievole  e nel pieno rispetto della persona.

Language courses are available for individuals or couples. Cooking classes, wine tours, cultural visits, local excursions, and fitness & wellness programs will make your stay with Francesca in Arezzo great for your mind and body. As they say in Latin: “Mens sana in corpore sano”.

Per di più, i corsi di lingua italiana (individuale o in coppia), corsi di cucina, wine tours, visite culturali, escursioni locali e corsi di fitness e benessere renderanno il soggiorno un vero piacere per il corpo, l’anima e la mente. Come dicevano i latini, “ Mens sana in corpore sano”.

During your stay, each morning you will be served breakfast and lunches and dinners will include traditional and genuine recipes that you will share with the family. The products with which meals will be prepared are all biological. Francesca has a wonderful vegetable garden and which she tends with care with her husband. As they say, direct from the earth to the table!

La colazione verrà servita ogni mattina e il pranzo e la cena, con piatti tradizionali e genuini, verranno condivisi insieme alla famiglia. I loro prodotti sono tutti biologici: hanno un meraviglioso orto che coltivo con cura insieme a suo marito. Come si può dire, direttamente dalla terra alla tavola!

You will have lots of time to immerse yourself in the language and culture, but you will also enjoy your privacy. A single person or a couple, with or without a child, are welcome in Francesca’s home.

Oltre alla socializzazione e condivisione familiare, non viene certo a mancare la privacy per chi soggiornerà nella mia struttura. Una singola persona, una coppia con o senza bambino saranno i benvenuti nella sua struttura!

The apartment where you will live is called “Maria Vittoria” after the name of her daughter. It is completely private. It has a large bed, and a single bed can also be added). The room also has a large armadio, a living area, and a bath with a shower. It is very light and airy and well kept. There is air conditioning, heating and linens are changed every week. There is also WIFI. These are the services included in the final price for a Homestay Language Vacation.

L’appartamento offerto si chiama Maria Vittoria, proprio come sua figlia;  è autonomo: ha una camera matrimoniale ( in aggiunta potremo mettere un lettino singolo) con un grande armadio,un  soggiorno e bagno con doccia. E’ molto luminoso e ben tenuto. Aria condizionata, riscaldamento, cambio della biancheria settimanale, WIFI, sono servizi  inclusi nel prezzo finale.

Francesca offers weekly packages with arrival on Sunday afternoons, with departures the following Saturday.

The First Package: 1 Week includes:

2 hours of Italian Lessons Monday – Friday (10 hours Total)
Cooking Lesson
Cultural Excursion (visit Arezzo or a local Winery)
A Bottle of Local Tuscan Wine Compliments of the Francesca!

The Second Package: 2 Weeks includes:
Private Apartment, Linens, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner,
2 hours of Italian Lessons Monday – Friday (20 hours Total)
2 Cooking Lessons
2 Cultural Excursions (visit Arezzo or a local Winery)
1 Excursion with Dinner in a local Trattoria
A Bottle of Local Tuscan Wine Compliments of the Francesca!

The Third Package: 3 Weeks includes:
Private Apartment, Linens, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner,
2 hours of Italian Lessons Monday – Friday (30 hours Total)
3 Cooking Lesson
3 Local Excursions (visit Arezzo or a local Winery)
2 Cultural Excursions with 2 dinners in local trattorias
A Bottle of Local Tuscan Wine Compliments of the Francesca!
Books and study materials are included in the price of the Homestay Package

At the end of the Homestay, you will be given a Diploma of Merit to show what you have accomplished during the week with Francesca
