Il ciak sarà dato a Firenze a partire dal 3 maggio, per le riprese del nuovo film “Inferno”. Il film, un adattamento del libro di Dan Brown, diretto da Ron Howard e interpretato da Tom Hanks e Felicity Jones, sarà girato nelle strade cittadine e nelle sale di Palazzo Vecchio. Per consentire alla troupe di girare all’interno di Palazzo Vecchio, il Comune chiuderà il museo al pubblico dal 2 al 6 di Maggio. Sono previste riprese anche su Ponte Vecchio e sulle strade del lungarno.
The click of the movie clapper board will soon be heard in Florence starting May 3, for the filming of the new movie “Inferno”. The movie, directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones is an adaptation of Dan Brown’s Book and will be filmed in the streets of Florence and in the halls of Palazzo Vecchio. To allow the crew to shoot in the Palazzo Vecchio the Commune of Florence will close the museums of the Palazzo Vecchio will be closed to the public between May 2 and May 6. Filming will also take place on the Ponte Vecchio and the roads along the Arno.

Il noto protagonista – Robert Langdon, interpretato da Tom Hanks, tornerà per risolvere un nuovo mistero. “Inferno” riprende con il Professore Langdon si sveglia questa volta, non a Parigi o a Roma, ma a Firenze. Si ritrova stordito e confuso in un ospedale di Firenze, dopo aver sofferto per una lesione alla testa, che lo ha lasciato senza alcun ricordo di ciò che è accaduto negli ultimi giorni. Ancora una volta, Robert si ritrova catapultato in una nuova cospirazione incentrata sul capolavoro letterario – “Inferno” di Dante. In corsa contro il tempo per fermare un avversario pericoloso, Robert si trova coinvolta in un complotto terribile. He finds himself dazed and confused in a Florentine Hospital, after having suffered a head injury that has left him with no memory of what has gone down in recent days. Again Robert finds himself pulled into a new conspiracy centered around Dante’s literary masterpiece the “Inferno”. He is pitted in a race against time to stop a dangerous adversary from putting in motion a horrifying plan. The goal: to level of population expansion to ultimately save humanity.
Nel sentire la notizia che le riprese di “Inferno” stanno per iniziare a Firenze, penso che dovrei finire il libro che ho iniziato quando è uscito. Mi sono fermata a metà strada. Vi confesso che mi sono stancata un po’ del “ronzio” dei droni sopra la testa i scappi di Langdon e la sua compagna, dai malintenzionati. Ma, mi è piaciuto che il libro sia stato ambientato a Firenze e che tante attività si siano svolte nel Corridoio del Vasari, nel giardino di Boboli e a Palazzo Pitti e che importanti indizi, per risolvere il mistero fossero nascosti in un dipinto di Alessandro Botticelli.
Hearing the news that filming is about to begin in Florence for “Inferno” makes me think that I should finish the book that I started last year when it first came out. I stopped about the mid-way point. I confess I got a little tired of all the drones buzzing around overhead and all the running around Langdon and his companion do from bad guys. At times the story seemed a little far-fetched. But I did like the fact that the book was centered in Florence and a lot of the activity took place Vasari corridor, the Boboli Gardens, and the Pitti Palace, and the fact that important clues to resolving the mystery were hidden in a painting by Alessandro Botticelli.
