Ciao a tutti! Bentornati nel mio canale! Sono appena tornata dall’Italia. Ho passato un mese lì con studenti di “Matta” ad Arezzo dove abbiamo studiato la lingua e la cultura. È stato fantastico imparare la lingua in Italia, studiando in una scuola con gli insegnanti che hanno scritto le parole su una lavagna e che hanno pronunciato bene nuove parole in maniera da sentire l’accento e le sfumature di suono.
Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel! I’ve just returned from Italy. I spent a month there with a new group of “Matta” language learners in Arezzo, studying language and culture. It was great to learn the language in Italia, studying at a school with teachers who wrote words on a blackboard and spoke new words clearly in order to pick up on the accents and nuances of sound.
Però è stata sempre la mia filosofia che non è necessario vivere nel paese della lingua che si sta imparando. Dipende invece della vostra motivazione e grinta. Inoltre adesso non ci sono scuse per imparare la lingua anche se abitate in un posto remoto o lontano dall’Italia. Secondo me, è possibile creare un’ambiente d’immersione a casa. Oggi ci sono tanti modi per sentire la lingua attraverso internet, podcast, youtube video e nuove app.
But it’s always been my philosophy that you do not need to live in the country of the language you are learning. It depends instead on your motivation and determination. In addition these days there are no excuses for not learning the language – even if you live in a remote place, or far, far, far in Italy. In my opinion, you can create an atmosphere of immersion at home. Today there are so many ways to feel the language through the internet, podcasts, youtube videos, and new apps.
Infatti sono qui per parlarvi di una fantastica nuova mobile app intitolata “FlashAcademy”. Indeed! Today I am here to tell you about a fantastic new mobile app called “FlashAcademy”.
È l’idea della società dietro FlashSticks – la compagnia che ha creato il modo per imparare una lingua straniera usando i Post-it Notes. Ricordate un video che ho fatto l’anno scorso su di quest’app? Passando il cellulare sopra uno dei Post-it note potete sentire un madrelingua dire la parola. Quando Francesco il direttore di marketing mi ha fatto sapere di questo app l’anno scorso ero molto convinto che fosse uno strumento utile per l’apprendimento della lingua.
It is the idea of the company behind FlashSticks – the company that created the app to learn a foreign language using Post-it Notes. Remember a video I did last year on this app? Simply passing your cell phone over a Post-it note you can hear a native language speaker say the word. When Francesco, the marketing director contacted me last year and introduced me to this app I was immediately captivated and convinced that it was a useful language learning tool.
Da quando ho fatto il mio video su FlashSticks le cose sono diventate ancora migliori! Ora l’applicazione è stata rinnovata ed è migliorata immensamente! Ho appena scaricato l’app e l’ho provata. La trovo molto figa! È come avere una scuola nella vostra tasca! La nuova app è disponibile per iOS e Android. Potete imparare ovunque siate…a casa, in treno, nel parco. È facile da usare e adatta ad ogni necessità.
Since I made my last video on FlashSticks things got even better! Now the application has been renovated and has improved immensely! I just downloaded the app and tried it. I think it is pretty cool! It’s like having a school in your pocket! The new app is available for iOS and Android. You can learn wherever you are … at home, on the train, in the park. It is easy to use and flexible.
Adesso l’App ha una nuova interfaccia e nuove immagini. Si concentra adesso sul progresso dello student verso la laurea del programma di Flash Academy. Ogni lezione porta lo studente in avanti! La curva dell’apprendimento va veloce veloce con nuove lezioni interattive.
Now the app has a new interface and new images. Now it focuses on the progress of the student towards graduation from Flash Academy. Each lesson moves the student forward! The learning curve is fast-paced with new interactive lessons.
Potete imparare nuove parole e frasi facilmente in una serie di breve lezioni – che funzionano come dei giochi. C’è sempre la possibilità di sentire la voce di un madrelingua e vedere video per praticare la pronuncia. Ci sono anche suggerimenti sulla grammatica e la cultura italiana. Le lezioni durano solo cinque minuti e dopo aver superato un livello la prossima lezione è sbloccata. Poi per praticare quello che avete già imparato ci sono altri giochi per fissare l’informazione che avete già memorizzato. Si può anche sfidare altri studenti per vincere punti.
You can learn new words and phrases easily in a series of short lessons – that work like games. There is always the possibility of hearing the voice of a native speaker and watch videos to practice pronunciation. There are also tips on grammar and Italian culture. The classes last only five minutes and after passing a level, the next lesson is unlocked. To practice what you have already learned there are other games to reinforce the information you have already learned. You can also challenge other students to win points.
All’interno di ogni lezione, gli studenti possono anche sfogliare nuove parole usando una serie di FlashCards, con accesso a video di madrelingua, frasi utili, consigli grammaticali che contribuiscono a migliorare la pronuncia e approfondire la conoscenza della lingua. Ci sono quasi 300 lezioni disponibili per ogni lingua, con 6 lezioni inizialmente offerte gratuitamente in modo che gli studenti possano sperimentare e vedere quando sia facile da imparare.Inoltre nuove lezioni sono aggiunte col tempo.
Within each lesson, the student can also browse new words using a number of FlashCards, with access to the native video, useful phrases, grammar tips that help improve pronunciation and to deepen the knowledge of the language. There are nearly 300 lessons available for each language, with 6 lessons initially offered for free so that the student can experiment and see how easy it is to learn with this app. New lessons are always being added over time.
