La settimana scorsa c’era un disastro nelle cinque terre. Frane e inondazioni hanno devastato i villaggi di pescatori situati sulle rocce della costa di Liguria. Per alcuni giorni il sole è uscito e la pulizia è stata iniziata. Però la pioggia non era finita. Questa settimana il cielo aperto di nuovo e un altro diluvio cadde sulla città di Genova, situata un po’ nord delle cinque terre causando inondazioni e nuove devastazioni. Non ci sono le parole per descrivere questa nuova tragedia. Sufficiente vedere le foto e i video. Sembra che la storia stia ripetendo non solo gli eventi della settimana precedenti, ma anche un’altro disastro a Firenze negli anni sessanta. Quarant’anni fa proprio questo mese a Firenze l’Arno inondato le sue rive devastando la città e la sua arte.
Last week there was a disaster in the Cinque Terre. Mudslides and floods devastated the fishing villages situated along the rocky Ligurian coastline. For a few days the sun came out and the cleanup was begun. However the rain was not done. This week the skies opened again and another deluge fell upon Genova, located a little farther north of the Cinque Terre, causing more flooding and new devastation. There are no words to describe this new tragedy. It is sufficient just to look at the photos and the video. It seems that history is repeating not only the events of last week but also another disaster that occurred in Florence in the 1960s. Forty years ago this month the Arno river in Florence flooded its banks devastating the city and its art.

La gente era molto arrabbiata perché le autorità hanno ovviamente sottovalutato il pericolo.Secondo le previsioni meteo il maltempo non dà ancora tregua in tutto il paese,comunque spero che il tempo stia migliorando e non ci saranno più vittime.Mi sa che l’Italia ha già abbastanza problemi da risolvere.
