The (Very) Long Road Home from Rome! After a wonde The (Very) Long Road Home from Rome!
After a wonderful adventure in Italy, the journey back was… well, epic.

We boarded the plane in Rome and then sat on the tarmac for one and a half hours before taking off. Ten hours later, we finally touched down in Newark, only to sit on the tarmac again — for another two hours! — waiting for a gate to deplane. 🛬😮‍💨

Of course, by then I’d missed my connecting flight to Austin. So… an unexpected overnight stay in Newark it was.

Now I’m up at the crack of dawn catching a 6 a.m. flight — bleary-eyed — with cappuccino in hand 🇮🇹❤️

You can take the girl out of Italy but you can’t take Italy out of the girl!

A few s Join Us This Fall in Florence! 🇮🇹

A few spots are still available for the September 2025 Italian Language Program in Florence, and I’d love for you to be part of this unforgettable experience!

Our group is growing, and I’m thrilled to return to Italy this fall to launch a brand-new language immersion adventure in collaboration with Nadia Bruno, director of ItalianMe Language School.

We’ll dive into Italian language and culture while strolling the enchanting streets of Florence—following in the footsteps of the Medici, exploring art, history, and of course…gelato!

Ready to elevate your Italian and make this September extra special?

Contact me for more details and reserve your spot today!
