Here is a chance to meet some of the teachers and the school director Antonella Valentini with whom I am partnering this September to organize a small group Italian language program in le March in the town of Ascoli Piceno from September 11 – 23, 2022. Sei mai stato nelle Marche? Questo settembre vado ad Ascoli Piceno per un nuovo programma di lingua italiana che ho organizzato con gli insegnanti ad Ascoli Mondo, nel cuore della città.
Have you been to le Marche region? This September, I’m going to Ascoli Piceno for a new Italian Language Program I’ve organized with the teachers at Ascoli Accademia Italiana in the heart of the city.
Insieme a un nuovo gruppo di studenti, studieremo presso la Accademia Italiana a Ascoli e scopriremo la città e i dintorni insieme nel pomeriggio.
Together with a new group of students, we will study at the la Accademia Italiana a Ascoli and discover the town and surrounding area together in the afternoons.
I punti salienti del programma “Matta” Ascoli 2022 includono gite alla città di Offida per visitare la chiesa romanica di Santa Maria della Rocca e fare una dimostrazione di Tombolo (merlettatura).
Highlights of the 2022 “Matta” Ascoli program include excursions to the town of Offida to visit the Romanesque church of Santa Maria della Rocca and have a Tombolo (lacemaking) demonstration.
Ci saranno due corsi di cucina e un’intera giornata a San Benedetto del Tronto per il pranzo e per passeggiare sul lungomare, fare shopping, nuotare o rilassarsi sulla spiaggia di sabbia bianca.
Ascoli è famosa per la sua giostra festival – “la Quintana”, e anche se non siamo lì per l’evento vero e proprio, ci sarà ricreare il festival fanfara per voi completa con sbandieratori e una cena rinascimentale!
Durante il vostro soggiorno, ci sarà anche un sacco di tempo per fare passeggiate e fare shopping e gustare un caffè o uno spritz e un cesto di olive ripiene famosi di Ascoli nella piazza del popolo!
There will be two cooking classes and a full-day beach excursion to San Benedetto del Tronto for lunch and to walk the ocean promenade, shop, swim or relax on the white sandy beach.
Ascoli is famous for its jousting festival — “la Quintana.” Although we won’t be there for the actual event, we will recreate the fanfare of the festival for you, complete with flag throwers and a renaissance dinner!
During your stay, there will also be plenty of time to wander and shop and enjoy a coffee or a spritz and a basket of Ascoli’s famous stuffed olives in the beautiful Piazza del Popolo!
L’anno scorso, sono andata ad Ascoli Piceno per la prima volta, e sono rimasta affascinata dalla città. Ho scoperto che la città ha tanto da offrire, e non vedo l’ora di tornarci per darti un passaggio.
Last year, I traveled to Ascoli Piceno for the first time and was charmed by the city. I discovered the town has a lot to offer, and I can’t wait to return and show you around.
