Mi piace da morire quello che faccio. Io scrivo e racconto storie dell’Italia. Io viaggio e incontro gente affascinante….artisti, scrittori, storici, insegnanti, gondolieri, sbandieratori, gioiellieri, chef, cioccolatieri, artigiani, soffiatori di vetro, fabbricanti di maschere, viticoltori, tartufai, instagramer, blogger, personaggi radiofonici, contadini, commercianti, imprenditori, musicisti, anche attori!
I love what I do. I write and tell stories about Italy. I travel and I meet fascinating people… artists, writers, historians, teachers, gondoliers, flag throwers, jewelers, chefs, chocolate makers, artisans, glass blowers, mask makers, winemakers, truffle hunters, Instagrammers, bloggers, radio personalities, farmers, shop keepers, entrepreneurs, musicians, even actors!
Per me l’apprendimento dell’italiano ha aperto tante porte e molte opportunità! In realtà è il momento in cui un giostratore ad Arezzo mi guarda e dice “Ehi non sei quella ragazza che fa quei video su Youtube…che potrei morire felice!
For me learning Italian has opened up so many doors and led to so many great opportunities. In fact, it is that moment when a jouster in Arezzo looks at you and says, hey aren’t you that girl who makes those Youtube Videos, that I could just die happy!
L’apprendimento della lingua può anche aprire opportunità per voi!

Venite con me mentre io vi dò un riepilogo del mio soggiorno recente ad Arezzo. Ecco i punti salienti del programma linguistico che ho organizzato con Paola Testi della scuola Cultura Italiana. Abbiamo passato due settimane indimenticabili al B&B le Antiche Mura gestita dalla mia amica Barbara Lancini. Abbiamo studiato a scuola di mattina e al pomeriggio abbiamo esplorato la città e l’area circostante, alla ricerca di avventura, arte, e cultura…sempre migliorando le nostre abilità linguistiche.
Come along with me as I recap my recent stay in Arezzo. Here are the highlights from the language program which I co-lead with Paola Testi of Cultura Italiana language school for foreigners. We stayed in the lovely B&B – le antiche mura run by my friend Barbara Lancini. We studied at the school in the mornings and in the afternoons we explored the town and surrounding area, looking for adventure, art, and culture…always improving our language skills!
Per me i momenti migliori sono stati la festa della giostra che avviene il primo weekend di settembre proprio, la fiera antiquaria, una visita a Cortona e Anghiari e la Sagra di San Savino.
For me, the best moments were the Giostra that occurs the first weekend in September, a trip to Cortona and Anghiari, and the Porchetta Sagra in San Savino.
Naturalmente, c’erano tante altre sorprese! Non si sa mai cosa può succederà quando viaggiate con me! Venite con me nella prossima avventura in Italia e scoprire più di Arezzo! Andiamo!
