Sono ad Arezzo con un nuovo gruppo degli studenti. Stiamo studiando a Cultura Italiana Arezzo . Questo weekend ci sarà la Giostra del Saracino e tutta la città sta preparando per l’evento in cui uomini in costume cavalcano sui cavalli in una gara che coinvolge i quattro quartiere di Arezzo. Ci sono tanta gente in costume dapertutto e la piazza grande, dove si svolge la competizione, è piena di grande impalcatura dove ci sediamo con tutta la gente di Arezzo per assistere alla gara e alla processione.
I’m Arezzo with a new group of language students. We are studying at Cultura Italiana Arezzo, la scuola di Paola Testi. This weekend in Arezzo there is the jousting festival and the entire city is getting ready for the annual competition in which men in costume on horseback, from the 4 neighborhoods that comprise Arezzo, compete against one another. There a people in costume all over the place and the Piazza Grande, where the competition takes place, is filled with large stands where will we sit with the rest of Arezzo to watch the jousting event and colorful processions.
Ieri abbiamo fatto una gita in città per visitare le chiese nella parte alta della città. Volevo condividere con voi la nostra escursione. Durante la settimana faccio alcune piccoli video per aggiornarvi delle nostre attività!
Yesterday we took a little tour of the upper part of the city to visit several important churches. I wanted to share with you a bit of our excursion. During the week I will be making small videos and posting to share with you our experiences.
